1 Killed, 1 Injured in Fan Bus Accident

LAWRENCE, Kansas – A person was killed and another seriously injured in an accident involving a bus carrying football fans to a Kansas State University game at the University of Kansas, police said.  The accident happened at around 11:30 a.m. and was the only vehicle involved in the accident. The dead victim and injured victim where not identified by police. The injured victims were passengers on a retrofitted school bus called the “Cat Tracker” which has no association with the university. The person who was injured was taken to a local hospital to treat a head injury and is currently in critical condition.
