Two Sisters Injured Sunday Morning in Clairemont Crash
NOVEMBER 9, 2008 — San Diego police reported two sisters, ages 62 and 87, were injured in a head-on collision on Clairemont Drive near Ute Drive this morning. The accident happened at about 11:10 a.m. Police reported that the women, in a Pontiac, were struck by a pickup truck driven by an 18-year-old female pizza delivery driver, who blacked out while driving. The 62-year-old woman’s injuries were described as life-threatening. The pizza delivery driver suffered minor injuries in the Clairemont auto accident.
