Bleyle and Children’s Hospital Child Molestation Case Begins

Bleyle Molestation Case Holds Preliminary Hearing Sept 19

September 19, 2006
A respiratory therapist at San Diego Children’s Hospital is being tried for countless molestations of some of the convalescent center’s most helpless patients. The preliminary hearing for Wayne Albert Bleyle, 54, was held today at the San Diego Superior Court.
Bleyle is being charged with multiple charges of child molestation and the possession and distribution of child pornography. Prosecutors say that some of this pornography includes Bleyle having sex with children.
In an investigation of Bleyle’s Santee home, well over 100,000 mages of child pornography were found. Many videos include men and children engaging in full sexual intercourse. Prosecuters noted that some of the footage spanned the 10 years Blyle worked at the Children’s Hospital convalescent center.
Most of the victims in this case were children suffering from brain damage, unable to speak or move on their own.
Bleyle’s case is currently undergoing preliminary hearings.
The attorneys at Estey & Bomberger are currently representing clients in this case, and others associated with Children’s Hospital.
