Lean Cuisine Recalls Three Frozen Entrée Meals
NOVEMBER 19, 2008 – Nestle Prepared Foods, the maker of Lean Cuisine entrees, announced a recall yesterday of three of its entrees, which may contain small-sized pieces of blue plastic material. The meals are: Chicken Mediterranean, Chicken Tuscan, and Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta. The recall affected more than 875,000 pounds of frozen Lean Cuisine chicken meals
This is the third recall by Nestle Prepared Foods Company this year. Nestle Prepared Foods recalled Lean Pockets in July of 2008 and Pepperoni Pizza Hot Pockets in August of 2008.
