A driver is dead and two others are injured after an accident on May 17^th in San Diego. The 22-year-old driver of an Oldsmobile was traveling west on Interstate 8 west of College Avenue at approximately 2:45 a.m. He was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the center median. The Oldsmobile was then struck by a Nissan Maxima, which was also speeding. The driver of the Oldsmobile died at the scene. The driver of the Nissan and a passenger were transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
