JUNE 28, 2009 – A bicyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle, authorities said. The victim was struck about 8:25 a.m. on Ramona Oaks Road near Watt Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The area is near the Equestrian Center in San Diego Country Estates. The victim was airlifted to Palomar Hospital in Escondido, according to authorities. The extent of the rider’s injuries are unknown. The CHP is investigating the collision.
