JUNE 22, 2009 – The CHP reported 3 people were injured in a vehicle rollover accident on I-8 in Imperial County. The accident was reported at 12:30 p.m. on westbound I-8, near mile marker 19. At least one person was ejected. An air ambulance responded and transported victims to a trauma center. It is not known how many vehicles were involved; further details were not immediately available. The El Centro CHP is investigating the I-8 Imperial County accident.
