JUNE 2, 2009 – A Border Patrol agent was airlifted to a local hospital after his all-terrain vehicle overturned while he was on patrol, said a Border Patrol spokesman. The accident was reported at 10:18 a.m., according to a captain for Cal Fire, and a helicopter was send to the Tecate port of entry. The agent was conscious and complained of back pain and a injured left arm, the Border Patrol spokesman said.
