APRIL 24, 2009 – A worker was killed after his ATV rolled down a hill in Fallbrook on Wednesday. 49-year-old Benjamin Lobato Huante, an entomologist with S&S Grove Management Services, was setting insect traps at a farm on Conquistador Road on Wednesday morning. Mr. Huante rode his ATV too close to a cliff, sending the vehicle tumbling approximately 120 feet down a hillside. He died at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries. Cal/OSHA is investigating the accident.
