Woman Seriously Injured in Rainbow Yesterday

APRIL 22, 2009 – A woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Rainbow yesterday. 52-year-old Susan Jacobson was traveling south on Interstate 15 when her SUV struck the center guardrail. This caused the vehicle to veer across the roadway and crash into a tree on the right shoulder near Rainbow Valley Boulevard. The SUV then rolled approximately 40 feet down an embankment. Emergency responders had to cut Ms. Jacobson from the wreckage. She was flown to Palomar Medical Center with fractures to her neck, ribs and face.
