APRIL 21, 2009 - A man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Santa Ysabel on Friday night. 31-year-old Scott Wolverton was riding a Polaris Ranger ATV west on Eagle Gap Road, a private road near state Route 76. He lost control of the vehicle on a curve in the road and went down an embankment. The ATV then overturned, landing on top of him. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
