Dog bite victim settles lawsuit for $1million
A Santa Rosa, California woman, badly injured after she was bitten by a bulldog, has settled her lawsuit and will be awarded $1million according to an article in the San Jose Mercury News.
The victim, Wendy Rydberg, was severely injured when a 90 pound bulldog attacked and bit her on her face as she walked her own dog on her way to picking up her children from school.
The bulldog’s owner was arrested, charged with misdemeanors and sentenced to four months in jail. The bulldog was killed by animal control officials.
