JANUARY 14, 2009 – A 44-year-old Escondido man was very seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday night, Escondido police reported.The accident happened on West 15th Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. The motorcycle struck a Toyota Camry backing out of a driveway. The driver of the Camry, a 32-year-old Escondido resident, was not injured. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, suffered a broken neck and leg injuries. He was taken to the hospital, and is expected to survive. The Escondido motorcycle crash remains under investigation.
