JANUARY 6, 2009 – San Diego Police have reported a man was killed in a solo vehicle crash on Imperial Avenue in San Diego on Monday Night. The accident happened around 10 p.m. The victim, Jerome Chartel Pamplin, 23, of Spring Valley, was trapped in his Ford F-150 truck after it hit a fire hydrant and a utility pole. Paramedics removed Pamplin from the wreck and he was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he died. The San Diego Police department is investigating the Imperial Avenue crash.
