El Cajon Man Killed Early Monday in SR-52 Crash

JANUARY 5, 2009 – Yaser Ali Sayah, 20, of El Cajon, was killed in a high-speed crash on Highway 52 early this morning, the San Diego CHP has reported. Sayah was a passenger, one of four people in a white BMW 323-I that flipped over on eastbound Highway 52 west of Convoy Street just before 1:45 this morning.  The crash caused Sayah and two others to be ejected. Sayah was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.  A 19-year-old person in the right back seat was not ejected and was not injured. Sayah was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.  The CHP is investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the Kearny Mesa crash.
