DECEMBER 7, 2008 – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has reported Jason Alan Carter, 22, of Valley Center, was killed Friday night in a crash on Anthony Road in Valley Center. The crash occurred before midnight Friday on the rural Valley Center Road when the driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer, a man in his 20s, crashed his car into a tree near Redfern Lane. Carter was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the crash suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The cause of the Valley Center fatality crash is being investigated.
