DECEMBER 1, 2008 – A boy suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon when he reportedly fell off of a golf cart being driven by another child in East County. The golf cart accident was reported on Polk Road, near Alpine, at around 5 p.m. yesterday. The boy, whose name and age have not been released, was flown to a San Diego hospital. He is expected to survive.
