Swap Meet Accident Injures Six
According to an October 17, 2007 Associate Press article, six people attending a swap meet at Calexico, California were injured when a motorist suffered a seizure while driving in the pedestrian aisle of the swap meet.
Authorities say the driver, who appeared to be in his late 20s was a patrol worker at the Las Palmas Swap Meet. He apparently lost control of his vehicle before 9:30 a.m. when he suffered what appeared to be a seizure.
Six people were injured including a 58-year-old woman who was carrying a baby. The baby escaped with only scrapes and minor bruises while the woman was seriously injured. Five others suffered moderate injuries.
