An elderly man was seriously injured in an accident on September 2^nd. The 87-year-old man was crossing El Cajon Boulevard in a wheelchair when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection ofMississippi Street. He was transported to the hospital with head injuries and a fractured leg. The driver claimed he did not see the man in the roadway.
