A child was injured after an accident on August 7^th in Vista. The 8-year-old boy was riding a bicycle at the intersection of E East Drive and East Indian Rock Road when he was struck by a vehicle. He was thrown on to the car’s windshield, where he remained for approximately 35 feet before falling off. The driver continued to drive, stopping only to remove the bicycle that was stuck under the vehicle. The victim was flown to the hospital with a broken leg and a lacerated elbow.
