Three injured at farmers market crash

An accident at a Pacific Beach farmers market left three people injured. A 40-year-old driver was exiting the parking lot of the Promenade Mall when his clutch malfunctioned, causing him to strike three pedestrians. One of the victims, a 70-year-old man, suffered a broken leg, and two other women got minor scrapes. All three victims were transported to the hospital. The driver was not arrested.
