A popular San Diego band member was killed in an accident on June 28^th. 40-year-old Craig Yerkes of the band The Grams was speeding as he was traveling on Camino del Rey in Bonsall. Witnesses estimated that the vehicle was going over 100 mph when it struck a tree at approximately 11:30 a.m. The cause of the accident is still being investigated. Mr. Yerkes’ band had been awarded at the last two San Diego Music Awards.
