An accident on June 16^th left a 45-year-old La Mesa man dead. The man was traveling southbound on Interstate 5 near Camp Pendleton when his BMW drifted into the dirt median. Two trucks were parked in this median by a contractor who was working on a guardrail for Caltrans. The BMW struck the back of one of the trucks sideways. He died immediately.
