A 19-year-old man was killed in an accident on June 11^th in Otay Mesa. Robert Pletzer was riding his skateboard on Picador Boulevard near Route 95 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Mr. Pletzer drifted into the road and into the path of an oncoming car. He was struck by the vehicle and taken to UCSD Medical Center. He suffered an open fracture to his leg and a severe head injury, of which he later died.
