A 16-year-old girl was killed after a farm vehicle accident on June 10^th. Catherine Peltzur and a 15-year-old boy were riding in a Kubota RTV-900, a vehicle without doors that has a front bench seat and a cargo bed. Catherine lost control of the vehicle on Oak Trail Road and it went off the shoulder. It then tumbled down an embankment and both teens were ejected from the vehicle. They were transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondio, where Catherine later died of major internal injuries. The boy suffered cuts to his face.
