20-year-old Christine James was killed in an accident on June 8^th. Ms. James was traveling east on Scripps Poway Parkway near State Route 67 around 5:50 a.m. She lost control of her 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck when it drifted on to the right shoulder. She then swerved left, crossing the eastbound lanes and the center divider. The vehicle then swerved into the westbound lanes and flipped. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Ms. James was wearing a seat belt.
