APRIL 7, 2010 – A child was flown by medical helicopter to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego following a two vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5 Tuesday morning, authorities reported. The accident occurred on southbound I-5, north of Highway 78, at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 7. The child’s mother, who was driving one of the vehicles, declined medical treatment. The occupant of the second vehicle was taken by ambulance to Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside with minor injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
