MARCH 15, 2010 – The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert following a hit-and-run rollover crash on Interstate 5 in Del Mar Tuesday morning. According to CHP reports, an SUV was hit from behind by an unknown vehicle and rolled four to five times. The accident occurred on southbound I-5, just south of Del Mar Heights Road on March 15th. The cause of the San Diego County SUV rollover accident remains under investigation. A description of the vehicle that caused the accident and left the scene was not immediately available. Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the SUV rollover crash.
