AUGUST 15, 2009 – The driver of a BMW struck and killed a 19-year-old man who was apparently lying in the road, authorities said. Patrick Aaron Drown of San Marcos was struck about 4 a.m. on Buena Creek Road just east of Robin Hood Road in North San Diego County, according to the California Highway Patrol. He died at the scene, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death, authorities said. The CHP is continuing to investigate the fatal pedestrian accident.
