AUGUST 13, 2009 – A 26-year-old man was seriously injured when he was struck by a car while crossing an off-ramp from Interstate 15, authorities said. The unidentified man was crossing the Aero Drive off-ramp from northbound I-15 when he was struck by a Pontiac G6 about 2:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim was transported to the hospital with major injuries, but was expected to survive, authorities said. The 24-year-old man who was driving the Pontiac was not injured. The CHP is investigating the pedestrian accident.
